Did somebody say Plies for president? The people’s champ had a special message for our Black queens after seeing them show up to the polls on Election Day.
As voters across the nation made their voices heard, the Buss It Baby rapper headed to his local polling place and exercised his right to vote. However, his experience at the voting precinct turned into something deeper than just casting a ballot.
In a heartwarming video, the Florida legend praise the Black women he was showing up to the polls, expressing how much it meant to witness their dedication to making a difference.
“All women in general are amazing but its something about my sista’s man, I just wanna tell y’all. Walking in that place and seeing y’all give y’all services, that sh*t really just chokes me up. It just reminded me how amazing y’all really are, how caring y’all really are, how invested y’all really are, and just how much y’all just always on the frontline.”
Fighting back tears as he delivered his message, Plies took a moment to uplift the Black women who continue to show up and make their voices heard. His emotional reaction highlighted the impact of seeing women actively participate in the democratic process and stand up for what they believe in.
The rapper has never been shy about sharing his thoughts, but this moment showed a more vulnerable side of the Florida legend. Judging his heartfelt words, he wanted to make sure his Black queens knew their efforts did not go unnoticed.
