The wait is finally over, Yung Miami is stepping into a new chapter with the release of her debut solo album, Watch Dis!.
The Florida rapper has been building her solo career for years after making a name of herself as one-half of the City Girls alongside her former groupmate, JT. Now, with both rappers pursuing their own paths, it’s Caresha’s turn pop it.
JT released her debut solo project, City Cinderella, in 2024, following her departure from the City Girls. The project featured standout records like “JT Coming” and “DOD,” giving fans a taste of what she could bring as a solo artist.
Now, it’s Yung Miam’s turn, and she came out the gate hot. Months before the album’s release, she dropped her lead single, “Spend Dat,” which quickly became a favorite among Instagram baddies and TikTokers, keeping the record in heavy rotation.
Following the single’s success, Miami tapped Lil Baby and Kodak Black for the official remix, giving the track even more star power.
Watch Dis! also marks Yung Miami’s first album as a fully independent artist after recently fulfilling her contract with Quality Control Music. With a fresh start and a solo project under her belt, the Tea Time rapper is ready to show the world what she can do without the City Girls name attached.
The album gives fans a closer look at Miami’s identity as a solo artist and what she hopes to bring to the next phase of her career. Now that the project is officially out, it’s time to see which tracks stand out the most.
