For those who care, Nick Cannon has a docuseries on the way, and according to the Wild ‘n Out creator, he’s not leaving out any details about his ridiculously large family.
Speaking with US Weekly, Nick Cannon delved into the upcoming Netflix docuseries that will cover his N’credible seed-spreading, which resulted in 12 children with six women, and he promises it will not be light on details or dodge any questions about his unusual family dynamic.
The 45-year-old entertainer, who has said he is not done making babies (lord help us), revealed the series will drop this winter and give us an unfiltered look at how all of those separate households function.
Cannon claims he chose to do the docuseries because he wanted to control the narrative being floated around, rather than let people keep making up their own assumptions.
“People have been fascinated with my lifestyle for quite some time, so instead of letting them make up stuff, I’m gonna give you everything,” Cannon said. He described the project as “raw” and “real,” adding, “I think we’re being more open and more vulnerable.”
Nick Cannon’s Baby Mamas Were Not Immediately Happy With The Idea
If you thought everyone signed on for this docuseries, Cannon noted that wasn’t the case, with some of his baby mamas hesitating to put their family business on camera.
“They were like, ‘Why are we letting cameras into our homes?’” Cannon said. “I think that everybody’s very comfortable with just keeping their peace. But everybody said that they would do it for me, so I’m appreciative of that.”
Cannon’s timing, speaking on this docuseries initially announced by Netflix in May, comes as one of his baby mamas, Brie Tiesi, the mother of 4-year-old Legendary Love, shot down the idea that everything is rosy between Cannon’s separate families.
“There is no ‘we’—we don’t balance anything,” Tiesi revealed on E!’s Hot Goss podcast. Tiesi said she wants to see her son have relationships with his siblings, but Cannon alone is responsible for making that happen. “Nick has to step up, and he has to make an environment and support the children,” Tiesi added.
