Red Bull Spiral is back with a new edition, and this one is definitely for fans of a certain era. Scarface, Ghostface Killah, and Kool G Rap bodied their Red Bull Spiral freestyle session, showing and proving their triple OG status.
With a blistering hot track from Jake One, Scarface, Ghostface Killah, and Kool G Rap effortlessly delivered one of the most astounding and confident Red Bull Spiral freestyle sessions yet.
Opening the session is Scarface, who made his solo debut in 1991 after establishing himself as a member of Texas legends, the Geto Boys. Facemob’s elder statesman stance is packed with wisdom, but he makes it clear he isn’t to be trifled with on any level.
Following Scarface is Ghostface Killah, who stunts in a flashy sweatsuit, delivering his usual descriptive bars as the Wu-Tang Clan swordsman glides. This is a return for Toney Starks to Red Bull after dropping a 60-second freestyle for the brand in 2023.
On the anchor verse is Kool G Rap, who delivered his first studio album in 1989 alongside DJ Polo, and his solo debut in 1995. With one of Hip-Hop’s most distinctive deliveries, the Kool Genius of Rap proves he never lost one step.
The best part of the freestyle session is seeing these seasoned vets still show love to one another, hyping each other’s verses up while the camera spins. It is aspirational and has some wondering (okay, maybe just us!) if the trio should hop in the booth and bang out a project.
