Originally from of New Jersey, Selena relocated to North Carolina several years ago to pursue a Bachelors degree in Mass Communications from Shaw University.  She has lent her vocals as an announcer to several radio stations in North Carolina with Jazz, Country, R&B, Gospel and Urban formats.  Before joining the on-air staff at Power 95.5 she worked as a news reporter and television personality at TV stations in Maryland and North Carolina.

Recognized as the top Mid-Day On-Air Personality in eastern North Carolina, Selena enjoys encouraging people and sharing a personal touch with listeners all across the area.  She was recently awarded a prestigious honor at the Women of Hip Hop Honors and Concert in Raleigh, North Carolina where female Hip-Hop artists and trailblazers came out for a night of “Girl Power”.

 During her personal time, Selena enjoys taking road trips, watching TV Land shows and cooking/baking...sometimes.  

You can hear Selena from 10am to 3pm Monday through Friday and you can join her on Sunday Nights from 8pm until the stroke of midnight for the Long Kiss Goodnight on Power 95.5
