Big K got his start as the campus newspaper editor for the Fayetteville State University Newspaper. After transferring to East Carolina University, he became involved with WZMB 91.3, East Carolina University Radio as part of the Thursday Morning Throw Down with co-host DJ Pyro-tech. In it's first year on the air, the show was named the Best Show by the ECU Campus Media Board. After brief stints in television and other different fields, Big K began at POWER 95 in 2007 with the "Main Event" rocking every Saturday morning at 10am. Outside of radio, Big K is a writer of movies and television shows.

 

Make sure you wake up with the "Main Event" every Saturday at 10 am. You'll be entertained with "Home Grown Flava" at 1:00pm, "The Official Big K Old Skool Jam of the Day" at 1:05pm, and the NEW feature "Rip City" at 2:05 pm.
